The driver of the Serbian Armed Forces, who was driving the PASARS armored vehicle, had a little more than 0,2 parts per thousand of alcohol in his body, unofficially, writes Danas.
The day after the tragedy The minister also spoke out. Defense Bratislav Gašić, with a telegram in which he sent his condolences to the families of the victims in this case accident. However, Gašić did not look back on the fact that a member of the Ministry of Defense, whose head he was intoxicated, hid a traffic accident with a fatal outcome.
Members of the Serbian Armed Forces, like all professional drivers, are not allowed to have alcohol in their blood, i.e. the result on the breathalyzer test must show 0.
Why is the Ministry silent?
How exactly the traffic accident happened has not yet been officially announced, although photos from the scene indicate that a military vehicle left its lane and crossed into the opposite lane and literally ran over the Ford car in which the family was.
This tragedy disturbed and shook the public in Serbia, so the question arises why the ministry is "silent", that is, why it did not inform the public about the details of the accident, more precisely how the convoy moved, whether the procedures were followed, what exactly happened?
The question arises as to when and who from the Ministry of Defense will address the public and whether someone will take responsibility for the tragedy that happened, given that a member of the military took part in the accident, in which there is a clear command responsibility.
