
Students in blockade: On May 1st, our struggle moves into the next phase
Blockade students and national unions call for a rally to mark May Day and six months since the Novi Sad tragedy, and announce the beginning of a new phase of their protest
Two groups of parents of students of the "Sonja Marinković" Elementary School in Novi Sad simultaneously held rallies in support and opposition to the suspension of classes, and they were separated by a police cordon
Two groups of parents of students from Novi Sad Elementary schools "Sonja Marinković" - those who are in favor of continuing the blockade and those who want to teaching continued, they gathered on Monday in front of that school, and both gatherings ended around 17:30 p.m.
The police cordon that separated all the gatherings missed the people who gathered at the gathering for the return of students to school, while all the time, on the other side, the citizens from the gathering for the suspension of classes shouted "Leave!".
The very end of the rally passed without incident, and the rally was secured by the gendarmerie, in addition to the police brigade.
Although the gathering of parents who support the suspension of classes was supposed to start at 16 p.m., and at 17 p.m. a gathering of parents who want their children to go to school was scheduled - both gatherings started at the same time, at 16 p.m.
On the spot in orange vests were the guards of a group of parents who want their children to go to school, in front of them is a line of the police brigade, and in front of the police brigade are students and parents who are in favor of the blockade.
Some of the parents who are in favor of the blockade said that they felt pushed out of the yard.
They were the first to come here, they had a meeting scheduled at 16 p.m., however, a large group of people came to the yard and occupied the appointment of parents who want the blockade to continue.
According to some parents for N1, SNS officials are among those gathered who support children going to school.

After more than a hundred kilometers of running, the students who started from Belgrade to Brussels arrived in Osijek, where they were welcomed by Croatian students with support, banners and music.
