Actor Aleksandar Srećković Kubura thanked the students of Serbia and gave them a big "bravo".
"You have raised our past from the ashes, into which these vermin in human form have thrown it. You, respected students, are raising at this moment our future, and not only the future of every born and unborn child of this nation of ours, but also the future of every tree, and stream, and stone of this beautiful land of ours. For you know very well that they have attacked it all. That poisonous snake, that hydra of corruption, greed, selfishness, simpletons, ignorance and non-culture, it has risen and roared, and it wants to destroy and swallow it all forever," he said.
Srećković said that this is not a political fight for a change of government, but "a fight against the complete biological extermination and destruction of our people."
"Not only us people, but also the destruction of our language, tradition, collective memory, our forests and fields, our rivers," he said.

Professor Sedlar: We must be much better ancestors than we are currently descendants
Professor of the Faculty of Agriculture in Novi Sad Aleksandar Sedlar asked if we will have clean water and healthy food if we "follow the vision and mission of Rio Tinto". The gathered answered "they will not dig".
"Good people, we must follow the vision of our agrarian. We must be much better ancestors than we are currently descendants. We must return to life, bring children back to our rural schools. We must realize our agrarian vision. We must support and recognize the peasant as a bearer of economic development, a partner in the main business of Serbia - in food production! And not to see him as a social case to whom we promise subsidies or, behold miracles, incentives. We must support him when he organizes, when he fights for his rights - so that they don't persecute him politically and economically afterwards," he said.
In order to be free, to be independent, agriculture must be the national interest of Serbia, the professor pointed out.

Prosecutor Bojana Savović: No uniform should be above the law
Prosecutor Bojana Savović said that "no uniform should be above the law".
"Force applied to people who are deprived of their freedom or who do not offer any resistance is a crime. No uniform must be above the law. Therefore, any excessive use of force, any humiliation of citizens, any illegal behavior must be the subject of an effective, efficient and transparent investigation. A country in which laws are not applied or are applied selectively ceases to be a state and becomes a mafia organization. What we live today, every day, bombs, extortion, mafia confrontations, is not a state, it is anarchy." she said.

Stajčić: We are slaves to the corrupt government
Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry Radomir Stajcic he assessed that Serbia is still "slave to a corrupt government" which, as he claims, is collapsing institutions and key sectors of society.
"We are still enslaved by a corrupt government that is collapsing the legal order, institutions of culture, agriculture, the educational system, our personal safety... They are poisoning our air, drinking water. They are turning fertile meadows into mines and landfills. The relevant minister is advising farmers and herders to give up agriculture. The president of the country presents us with criminals from Ćaciland as peacekeepers," said Stajčić.

Rector of the University of Arts: We are here as patriots defending our country
Mirjana Nikolić, rector of the University of Arts, spoke about how art, culture, education and media are under attack in Serbia.
"This government is afraid of the raised index at the end of the theater performance and at the end of the concert. It is afraid. It is afraid of those who ask questions, those who ask what is wrong with corruption, those who seek justice and dignity. We are here as patriots who defend our rights and our country. That is why tonight we are saying from Slavia: culture, art, education and the media are not the outcome, they are the starting point of everything. Without free media there is no free society, without culture there is no future, and that is why we demand with our heads held high changes that must happen, because the students are winning," she stated.

Samardžić: We need to show the authorities that it is a population that is not only more numerous, but also smarter
Political analyst and retired professor of the Faculty of Political Sciences, Slobodan Samardžić, told Vreme that today's protest is another opportunity to show how much support the student movement has, stressing that it is one of its key political signals.
"This is another opportunity to show how much support the student movement has. That is the most important thing. This is the support of tens of thousands of people, maybe even hundreds. We need to show the authorities that it is a population that is not only more numerous, but also smarter," said Samardžić.

Radomir Lazović: Magnificent day
The president of the parliamentary club of the Green-Left Front and co-president of the party, Radomir Lazović, said during today's protest in Belgrade that the mass gathering of citizens shows that the energy of student protests is not waning and that support for the student list remains unquestionable.
"I think that a day like this is truly magnificent. The number of people is huge, but that is not important. The important thing is the symbolic message that says that people are not tired, that they are determined and persistent and that we should all fight together," said Lazović.
He said that the Green-Left Front is not considering changing the decision to support the student list and added that the goal of the opposition is joint victory.
"The support for the student list remains - at the moment there are no ideas about changing that decision. Our idea is to do what is best for victory. I think that is support for the student list," said Lazović.
He added that his political option will not enter into conflict with students or try to be their competition.
"We will never allow ourselves to be competition for students. We are open to discussion on how best to contribute to the overall joint victory," said Lazović.
