Students in the blockade should follow the example of their colleagues who want to study and establish a camp in Mali Tašmajdan. There are many reasons for that
The "Girl with a Pitcher" fountain from 1965 should be put into operation, so that the residents can splash around on these warm days, and also take a bath for hygienic reasons.
Manager of Cacilenda Miloš Pavlović even applied there, on a public and formally protected area, that is his official place of residence. Competent authorities gave their consent.
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, has complained on several occasions that the number of tourists in Belgrade is decreasing because of the blockaders-armchairs. That is why the official tourist offer for the summer of 2025 should also include Ćaciland – a unique closed camp in the center of a capital where campers not only pay nothing, but get money for their stay.
Entrance could be charged at least 10 euros, with a discount for students and minors.
This camp could also be internationalized. Some good students of Viktor Orbán, for example, or colleagues with criminal records from all over Europe could be invited as guests.

They did it at the intersection of Nemanjina and Knez Milos. This camp, unlike Ćaciland, is of an open type. Everyone is welcome.
Cultural and entertainment programs are offered. Food and refreshments are free thanks to donations, there is room to sit. Visitors have the opportunity to talk with learned people, exchange opinions on the political situation in the country and the world, philosophy, history.
Those who want to take a break from mental exertion can play volleyball or indoor soccer.
The camp is open to visitors 24 hours a day, admission is free.
The atmosphere here is much more relaxed than in Ćaciland, approximately 400 meters away, which is more suitable for fans of the military hierarchy and martial arts.
The professor's camp is not intended for sleeping. It could, however, be extended to the Manjež park and there, in the shade of the famous trees, tents suitable for both daytime and overnight stay could be pitched.
This would create the conditions for Serbian professors to invite their colleagues from all over the world as guests, which would certainly encourage domestic tourism.
Student camp in Mali Tašmajdan
When camps are already springing up in the city center that the government tolerates, it is surprising that otherwise advanced "students in lockdown"They are lagging behind."
Here is a proposal: to establish their camp in Mali Tasmajdan as a matter of urgency.
The location is ideal. It is located in the strict center of the city, there are numerous faculties nearby, the paying guests of "Metropol" would have a colorful view, and the inquisitive students-blockaders, as they are, would not occupy the main space for children, dogs and other visitors on the "big" Tasmajdan.
Certainly, a large number of tents should be provided and the more liberal students from all over the world should be invited as guests, to take advantage of free half-board in a beautiful place in the capital of Serbia. It should not be a big problem to find donors for this venture.
It would be appropriate to officially appeal to Mayor Šapić to ensure that the City of Belgrade provides the necessary infrastructure, because I believe that the former top water polo player and the president of the Municipality of Novi Belgrade would recognize this opportunity for tourism development.
If everything goes according to plan, the tents should be set up in Beogradska Street and on the Boulevard as outdoor units, following the example of their fellow residents.

Belgrade - the capital of camps
And it wouldn't have to end there. Just imagine the tent settlements on Slavija or on Autokomanda, near Fontana in New Belgrade! Well, that would be a complete attraction: Belgrade, the city of camps! Come to the capital of Serbia and develop your own tent! Belgrade - ecological city! with the largest pedestrian zone in Europe.
Bikes and scooters for rent would go like crazy. The air quality in the city center would improve.
Guests from abroad would not have to burden themselves with the various demands of the founders of the Belgrade camps. It is a sovereign issue of internal politics of the Republic of Serbia.
For the opponents of the Aleksandra Vučić regime, the following applies: the absurdity implemented by the government must be pushed to the end.
