According to him, there are people accomplished in their professions, among them a large number of university professors, as well as experts with knowledge from various areas of society who could contribute to solving numerous existing problems.
He explained that the candidates, if the list is selected, should deal with areas in which they have expertise. He cited himself as an example, stressing that he would not deal with foreign policy, but with issues in the field of culture.
Time-limited engagement
Hubač assessed that his future political engagement is limited in time and that he sees it primarily as a way to, as he said, return the country to a normal state. He pointed out that his political views and principles have been known and unchanged for years, while he has already achieved a professional career.
At the same time, he pointed out that, in his opinion, a complete collapse of the value system took place in Serbia, which was twisted for the sake of the interests of a certain group of people.
Without billboards and television: Students embark on a guerilla election campaign
Speaking about the collection of signatures for electoral lists, Hubač referred to the claim of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, that SNS collected 170.000 signatures in three hours.
He reminded that Vučić only a few months earlier, after the students collected 400.000 signatures in one day, claimed that no one would be able to collect so many signatures in one day and that such a result had never been recorded before in the history of political organizing.
Hubač, however, pointed to the data on the work of the verifiers, stating that, according to the figures presented, SNS managed to verify 57.000 signatures per hour, while students could not reach 33.000 signatures per hour.
Dragan Milić: Support the students, don't play with the fate of Serbia
He emphasized that he has no problem with the number of signatures collected by SNS, but he assessed that the figures presented are completely unbelievable and against common sense.
That is why he believes that the political process was already damaged from the very beginning by what he assessed as a concrete and easily verifiable untrue claim. According to his view, such a statement represents introducing mistrust and unreliability into the election process even before its full start.
