Student movement announced today that a group of citizens was formed "Student list - Students are winning", which is the next step towards participation in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
The students summed up their message in the motto "Serbia or the mafia", with the message that, as they state, it is time for victory and that they are ready to carry that victory to the end.
The signatories are Marija Maruna, Katarina Šćepanović, Goran Perišić, Stanislav Milošević, Aleksandar Čupić, Miljan Salata, Milica Jovanović, Sanja Fric, Mirjana Nikolić, Radomir Saičić, Dušan Đurđević, Željko Hubač, Maja Crnogorac Đurić and Miroslav Andrić, it was announced on the website of the student movement and reported by FoNet.
The students state that they made the decision to go to the elections after, according to their opinion, the state institutions neglected their obligations for years, while the government did not fulfill the demands that the students and citizens made. They believe that the institutions have lost the trust of the public and that, therefore, they can no longer be responsible for deciding the future of the country.
The students see the announcement of extraordinary parliamentary elections as an opportunity to achieve what their movement has been striving for since the beginning. They point out that this is why they decided to take responsibility and try to influence the future direction of Serbia through the elections.
The student movement states that it has prepared a detailed social program, as well as that it has chosen professional people who will represent it on the election list.
Along with the announcement of the formation of a group of citizens, the students said that the elections are now a reality and that their path is clearer than before. They stated that they are ready to carry out the assumed responsibility to the end and that they see the upcoming elections as an opportunity to win.
