IT Blockade: Don't Fall For Doorknob Voting Spray Rumors
"Don't fall for the spread of panic on Viber groups and networks. Feel free to open the door, take your ID card and exercise your right to vote," announced the IT blockade.

For all those who were skeptical about student blockades for the New Year, the message arrives: "There is no New Year, you owe us the old one." In Belgrade, Novi Sad and Niš, students will spend one of the happiest holidays - in complete silence
In the official announcement, the students announce a gathering on December 31 in Pionirski Park from 22.30:23 p.m., a walk to Student Square from 23.52 p.m., and 15 minutes of silence at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. After the tributes, student performances were announced.
Namely, following the model of the student demonstrations from 1996, there will be a joint reception of students and rebellious citizens, and at midnight there will be no hearty congratulations, celebrations and songs, but fifteen minutes of silence for the fifteen victims of the tragedy in Novi Sad.
The gathering of students starts at 22:30 p.m. in Pionirski Pak, from where the walk continues to Student Square - the epicenter of this protest.
A wave of noise, then a wave of silence. And then, until 1 hour past midnight, there will be various student performances.
Student of the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade, Petar Mladenović, says that this kind of New Year's Eve is proof that the students are persistent, and that they will not leave their faculties until the demands are met.
"Many of us will protest in a dignified and peaceful manner tomorrow and thus welcome the New Year." In moments when there is a general crisis in society, students have nothing to celebrate, but use this moment to send their message even stronger. We cannot celebrate and worry about missed exams if our demands are not met", Mladenović believes.
Just a few hundred meters from there, a completely different face of Belgrade. On Republic Square, Marina Visković, Željko Vasić and Haris Džinović will perform as part of the Belgrade Winter event.
Protests in Niš and Novi Sad
Novi Sad students said that holidays bring people together and strengthen the will of students.
They announced that on December 31st at 10:19 a.m. the activation of the university campus will be organized, while at 22:XNUMX p.m. a gathering of students on the campus is scheduled, from where students will head towards Freedom Square in the center of Novi Sad at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m., where they will organize the program.
They also announced a protest in front of the City Assembly for tomorrow, where the budget for 2025 should be discussed.
Students from Belgrade also announced a big protest for the New Year.
Students from Belgrade and Novi Sad are joined by students from Niš who will take to the streets of that city for the New Year.

"Don't fall for the spread of panic on Viber groups and networks. Feel free to open the door, take your ID card and exercise your right to vote," announced the IT blockade.
