Students in the blockade have published on social networks the program of the gathering scheduled for Sunday, June 28 in Kraljevo on the occasion of the celebration Vidovdan.
We are planning that the main program of the meeting will start at 18:00 at the Square of Serbian Warriors, while the fair part of the meeting will last from 14:00 to 17:00 at several locations in the city.
During the fair part of the program, students will collect donations for children from Kosovo and Metohija, and citizens will be able to apply to be controllers in the elections, the students stated on the Instagram social network.
"Vidovdan march" from Kragujevac to Kraljevo
The students of the University of Kragujevac also announced the "Vidovdan March" - a walking tour from Kragujevac to Kraljevo that will begin the day before, on Saturday, June 27, in front of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics in Kragujevac at 11:30 a.m.
On the first day of the walk, it is planned to walk through the towns of Korićani, Dragobrača, Vučkovica and Knić to Bresnica, and on the second day of the walk from Bresnica via Mrčajevac, Tavnik and Adrano. Arrival in Kraljevo is planned for 16 hours and 30 minutes.
Kragujevac students have invited all interested citizens to join them in this walk on Instagram.
Last year's student gathering on Vidovdan
Last year's student meeting called "See you on Vidovdan" was held in Belgrade on June 28. According to the data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 36.000 people gathered at Slavija, while according to the estimates of the Archive of Public Meetings, 140.000 citizens gathered.
At last year's rally, there were numerous incidents between the gathered citizens and members of the police, and then, for the first time since the beginning of the student protests, tear gas was fired.
After the "See you on Vidovdan" rally, proceedings were initiated against nine students who were accused of preparing an act against the constitutional order, which is still pending before the High Court in Belgrade.
