Aleksandar Vučić's decision to invite the "head of the Kyiv regime" Volodymyr Zelenskyy visits "can bring immeasurable national damage to the country" because it can permanently spoil relations with Russia as a permanent member of the Security Council and "defender" of the territorial integrity of Serbia and the position of Republika Srpska.
This is written in a letter to a hundred public figures sent by Aleksandar Pavić, until recently a member of the movement "We-the power of the people".
Among the signatories are Slobodan Antonić, Siniša Atlagić, Vladan Glišić, Miloš Ković, Časlav Koprivica, Ljiljana Čolić and others.
"Zelensky's visit confirms once again how dangerous it is when a state body usurps powers that do not belong to it according to the Constitution and when the country's foreign policy is conducted contrary to the will of the vast majority of the people," the signatories stated.
They consider Zelensky "the main culprit for the tragic war between Russia and Ukraine, an exponent of NATO and the European Union, as well as the fact that his presidential mandate has expired."

The signatories see Serbia as "the first victim of the fatal decision on the further expansion of the NATO pact", and Ukraine as "its even more tragic victim".
"It is a cynical replacement of theses to accuse Russia of some kind of 'aggression' against Ukraine. On the contrary, Russia is the main barrier to the further spread of that aggressive and deadly relic of the Cold War, the continuation of the spirit of the Third Reich, further to the East, and we believe that it is waging essentially the same war as it waged against Nazi Germany and its European vassals," the letter stated.
