The owner of "Jovanjica", the largest marijuana plantation in Europe, Predrag Koluvija, has been stripped of his collar, MP Marinika Tepić wrote on Twitter. That information is television N1 confirmed in the High Court in Belgrade.
She went on to write that Interior Minister Bratislav Gašić and the "company" must be "scared" that the owner of "Jovanjica" could also speak, so that is why he is in the Parliament on Thursday, after the testimony of the inspector of the Department for the Suppression of Narcotics of the Belgrade Police, Dušan Mitić , Koluvia's lawyer Vladimir Đukanović Đuka hugged Gašić, and that RTS "of course" cut that staff.
Inspector Mitić, in his capacity as a witness before the Special Court for Organized Crime, told them on the same day that, among others, the then head of the BIA Gašić, whose removal is sought by the participants of the "Serbia against violence" protest, and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, tells them "not to give it". because he "does his job very well", he ordered that the investigations in "Jovanjica" be closed.
"Their correspondence since one day shows their closeness and intimacy, Koluvija comments with him on people from the opposition," said the inspector and added that it is clear from the correspondence that Gasic knew that Koluvija was a donor to the BIA agency and that he was "astounded that is a narcotics dealer who is a donor to the BIA".
"It is clear from the messages that Gašić knows what is happening in Jovanjica, and this can be seen from the conversation with (the first man of the Belgrade BIA center Mirko) Škera," Mitić concluded.
From the available information and testimony, some media have characterized "Jovanjica" as a "state project" that reaches the top of the government.
The first defendant, Predrag Koluvija, has now had his ban on leaving his apartment with electronic monitoring revoked and replaced with a ban on leaving his residence, with the obligation to report to the competent police station every Monday.
