Savo Manojlović, leader of the Move-change movement, commenting arrests related to canopy fall at the railway station in Novi Sad, that 48 hours after the detention, it will be known how serious everything is.
"If the prosecution requests 30-day detention, and the judge orders it - the government system is shaken. If they are released after 48 hours - it will be another shot in the arm," Manojlović pointed out in a statement.
The Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime announced on Saturday that 1 people were arrested in the investigation into the fall of the roof of the Railway Station building in Novi Sad on November 16 last year, when 11 people died, and that so far all of them have been questioned except for Goran Vesić, as medical documentation has been submitted that he is undergoing hospital treatment.
Although he announced that he would speak about these arrests and the Prosecutor's Office in today's (August 2) address, President Aleksandar Vučić did not say a single word about the "prosecutor's coup d'état" that all regime media were buzzing about on Friday. Also, it was not discussed at today's meeting of the National Security Council.
