"The footage in front of 'Ćaciland', which was supposed to show what happened, shows what shouldn't have been seen. The 'directors' didn't count on that," a retired infantry officer, a participant in the wars, told Vreme.
He further explains: "The alleged terrorist walked to the tent as if to his living room, entered the tent less cautiously than he would have entered his bathroom, and this indicates that he knew there was no one there. There is no more than three meters between him, who allegedly fired, and the wounded man."
He points out that, according to officials, including the "supreme" Aleksandar Vučić, the wounded man was hit in the right groin from close range, so it would be logical that in that situation he would have rotated due to the impact of the projectile's kinetic energy, "but he practically bounced, not backwards, but upwards".
"This happens when someone is hit by a small caliber or insufficient kinetic energy pellet, which again is characteristic of the action of ignited, not fired, ammunition."
Like a lesson learned by heart
"The 'terrorist' surrendered after two minutes, at the entrance to the tent, and the weapon from which he fired was not found. How is that? The perpetrator answers the policeman's questions like a student who learned by heart what to do for the promised three, without excessive stress and delving into the material."
In particular, our interlocutor says, the insufficient training of the police is noticeable, because the video shows the improper execution of the act of using facilities for action and protection - two policemen "practiced" for protection use a tent that is the only "proven" protection against drafts.
Another interlocutor of "Vremen", who worked in the Military Security, points out that it is strange that the fire did not spread to the other "umbrellas" in front of the Assembly, but was strictly controlled: "I worked for 25 years in the military security service, I graduated from the Technical Military Academy, so I know something about those things. This is all a smoke bomb."
Many questions, few answers
It is also unclear how the police recordings of the arrest of the "terrorist" and the interrogation while he was sitting in the "marika" were immediately leaked to the media, so the question arises as to whether the prosecution will react to it.
How did the witness statement given to the police get on the website of some regime media?
Where is that car tinsmith from around Sečnj in Ćaciland?
Why was the wounded man, who is able to work and probably employed somewhere, not at his place of work?
Vučić gave all the details about the "terrorist", where he retired and in which companies he worked, but about the work status of the wounded man - not a word
The front pages of the tabloids on Thursday morning were dedicated to Ćaciland. For them, the perpetrator is a terrorist, because the "supreme" characterized him as such, although the prosecution charges him with attempted murder.
Ćaciland is normally a guarded facility and no outsider can enter it, only the well-known "Ćacad". In addition to the internal security, people with recognizable physiognomy, mostly tattooed, supervise everyone who enters, and the outside is guarded by the police in uniform and civilian clothes.
