Radio and Television of Serbia (RTS) published a video on her portal showing how she is a member Gendarmerie punched his fellow plainclothes policeman in the face on Monday evening in front of the RTS building, but with the fence that it was a video "which the students claim shows the moment the policeman was injured".
In addition to that video, RTS also published a statement from the Ministry of Internal Affairs in which it was pointed out that the Gendarmerie "did not attack anyone".
It was pointed out that, by order of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, intensive work is being done to establish all the facts related to the events in front of the Radio-Television of Serbia building.
"It is an undeniable fact, as evidenced by numerous videos published by the participants themselves, that when the Gendarmerie arrived on the task of entering the RTS building in order to prevent a violent entry into the building, they were hindered and attacked by the participants of the blockade," the statement said.
MUP: Gendarmes received several blows
The MUP stresses that the Gendarmerie was "blocked" and that it was "pushed, hit with various objects" and that "its members were hit".
"All official videos and videos from social networks will be submitted to the prosecutor's office, as well as the statement of the injured gendarme, who told the police that he was hit with a boxer, as well as other gendarmes who were attacked and who, like the injured gendarme, received several blows in different places when entering the RTS building," the statement said.
The MUP denies the information that the Gendarmerie attacked anyone and claim that it was attacked "without any reason and its members received several blows when they arrived at the RTS building."
Threats to Bojana Mlađenović are being investigated
Chief Public Prosecutor of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, Nenad Stefanović, ordered the Special Department for Combating High-Tech Crime (VTK) to identify and prosecute all persons who threatened RTS journalist Bojana Mlađenović.
In a statement, the prosecution states that death threats were sent to journalist Bojana Mlađenović on several occasions via social networks.
The Prosecutor's Office announced that due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that a criminal act of endangering security was committed in this way, the Special Department for VTK sent the police a request to collect the necessary information in order to identify and prosecute the perpetrators of the crime.
RTS editor and journalist Bojana Mlađenović announced earlier Tuesday that she did not call the students a mob and pointed out that part of the question to Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić during the interview in Dnevnik on Monday was taken out of context and is being misinterpreted in public.
