The Republic Election Commission (REC) announced today the electoral list "Aleksandar Vučić - United Serbia" for early parliamentary elections, scheduled for October 25th.
Who is on the list?
The list has a total of 250 candidates, and the first on it are Aleksandar Vučić, Miloš Vučević and Ana Brnabić.
Politicians include Milenko Jovanov, Nikola Selaković, Uglješa Mrdić, Marijan Risticevic, Marina Raguš (former deputy of the Serbian Radical Party who was active in the Committee for the Defense of Vojislav Šešelj before the Hague Tribunal), Vjerica Radeta, Milovan Drecun, Nebojša Bakarec, Marko Atlagić, Zoran Dragišić, Dubravka Filipovski...
The representatives of the actors are Lidija Vukićević (in the high 9th place), Branislav Lečić, Jelena Đukić Milinković, and Lepomir Ivković.
Violinist Jovan Kulundžija and opera singer Nataša Tasić Knežević are also on the SNS list.
Among the athletes, the most famous name on the list is former basketball player Željko Rebrača.
There are also lawyers Vladimir Đukanović, Arno Guyon, Aleksandar Šešelj, law graduate and son of Vojislav Šešelj, Sanja Džajić, daughter of Dragan Džajić, doctor Nada Matsura, Miloš Pavlović, zero resident of Ćaciland, analyst Saša Radojević...
The applications were not valid.
Although 224.557 signatures of support for the list of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) were submitted on Saturday around 13 p.m., the REC determined after processing that the signatures of 209.130 voters were legally valid.
In the report, which was read by RIK member Marko Danilović at the session, it was determined that 3.540 statements are not legally valid - due to the lack of the name, signature or seal of the notary, or they were made on an invalid form.
The Republican Electoral Commission also found that 5.154 people were not registered in the single electoral roll, while 1.253 people supported the same electoral list two or more times.
Minister for Public Investments of Serbia in technical mandate and President of the SNS Executive Board, Darko Glišić, yesterday, as an authorized proposer, submitted to the RIK newspaper "Aleksandar Vučić - United Serbia" with signatures of support.
