As Raskrikanje learns from several sources, the long-time director of United Media Aleksandra Subotić was fired after several months of speculation that her dismissal was imminent. It is another step in the direction of ""imitation" primarily television N1 and Nova.
That there will be a replacement has been rumored since August last year, when KRIK, together with the international journalist network OCCRP, published a video in which it is heard that the then newly appointed general manager of United Group, Stan Miller, discussed her replacement with the director of the state-owned Telecom, Vladimir Lucic. In the video, Lučić says that Serbian President Aleksandra Vučić is asking for it.
The "implantation" has begun: N1, Nova and Danas have new bosses
Board members removed
Two days ago, United Group replaced all members of the Board of Adria News in Luxembourg, which started the reorganization of the media within the United Media company, portal nova.rs writes.
Subotić was one of the key persons of the United Media company, under whose management the media outlets N1, Nova S, Danas and Radar operated until a few days ago. She is considered the closest associate of Dragan Šolak.
This is how the plan was implemented, which was discussed by the new general manager of United Group, Stan Miller, and the director of the state-owned Telekom, Vladimir Lučić.
