After the hearing in the criminal proceedings against Miljana and Vladimir Kecmanović, the mother and father of the boy who committed the horrific massacre at the "Vladislav Ribnikar" elementary school on May 3 last year, the lawyers confirmed that the juvenile murderer testified today.
"Through the questions that were put to him today, we did not find out the motive and why it happened, but I think that his statement today goes in the direction that it will be found out." "His interrogation is not finished and will continue on October 17 in this same building," said Ognjen Božović, adding that he is not allowed to say anything more, given that the proceedings are closed to the public.
Attorney Zora Dobričanin Nikodijević stated after the trial that she was satisfied with today's hearing and everything they learned today during the boy's testimony.
"We learned a lot of new details during the testimony, but I can't and don't want to talk about that either," said Zora Dobričanin Nikodijević.
Irina Borović, who together with her father Borivoj Borović represents Miljana and Vladimir Kecmanović after the hearing, stated that the public is most interested in the reasons why this tragically unfathomable event happened.
The trial was closed to the public, and this was the first time that the juvenile murderer leaves the specialized children's institution where he has been since May 3 last year. Today around 9.00:XNUMX a.m., he was brought to Ustanička Street in the hospital ambulance, accompanied by the police.
He is not criminally responsible for the crime he committed on May 3 last year because he was 13 years old at the time of the crime.

Let's remind you, the mother of the juvenile murderer Miljana Kecmanović is charged with the criminal offense of illegal possession, carrying and trafficking of weapons, bearing in mind that her DNA trace was found on one of the shell casings in the school classroom, as well as on the hair band with which the bottle was tied in to whom her son made a Molotov cocktail.
The indictment against the parents did not include the juvenile murderer, bearing in mind that he was 13 years old at the time of the crime, and therefore not subject to criminal liability. He has the status of a witness in this proceeding and is expected to be brought to the courtroom of the Special Court today, where the hearing will be held.
The juvenile murderer is in a specialized children's psychiatric institution in Belgrade and it is assumed that he will be brought to the courthouse by the hospital ambulance, accompanied by the police. It will be the first time that the boy leaves the hospital where he has been staying since May 3, when he was taken into custody in the school yard. After being brought to one of the most protected courtrooms in Serbia, the juvenile murderer will be placed in a special room, where he will be physically separated from other participants in the proceedings, so that they cannot see him but will be able to hear what he says.
