Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia sent a note of protest Croatia due to interference in the internal political situation and the election campaign in Serbia, it was confirmed to RTS.
In the note, it is assessed that "attempts of external influence on election processes, as well as certain ways of reporting by Croatian media on the political situation in Serbia, are unacceptable."
Concern was expressed over the allegedly one-sided presentation of political opportunities and their connection with regional stability.
The note emphasizes that such actions do not contribute to mutual trust and good neighborly relations, writes RTS.
Aleksandar Vučić, the holder of the "United Serbia" list, spoke on this topic, and he assessed that Croatia interferes most openly in the election processes in Serbia. He made that claim while commenting on the performance of director Goran Marković on Croatian national television HRT.
According to him, no other country has interfered as much and in such a brutal way in the elections in a country as Croatia in Serbia.
Speaking about student protests and blockades, Vučić assessed that "real revolutionary terror" has been carried out in Serbia for almost two years, adding that the demonstrators have not yet built concentration camps.
Referring to Goran Marković's statements, Vučić criticized his choice of words, and then the accusations that the director made against the Serbian state leadership. On that occasion, he repeated the claims that the demonstrators attacked the police and other citizens, as well as that some participants of the protest used violence.
Vučić stated that he expects that Croatia will continue to interfere in the elections in Serbia, claiming that Pristina and Podgorica are also involved.
