Police arrested, detained, and searched the apartment of activists today in Serbia.

Eco Guard announced today that the police searched the apartments of at least four activists and members of that movement, who were invited to an informative interview on suspicion of calling for the violent overthrow of the constitutional order.
According to Eco Guard on Twitter, members of the Criminal Police Directorate came to the activists' apartments with search warrants, issued by the public prosecutor, based on the criminal offense of violent overthrow of the constitutional order. All four were invited to an informative interview.
The first to be "picked up" was Marko Kovačević, who officially reported a large environmental protest on August 10 in Belgrade, and is otherwise the coordinator of Serbia's biggest clean-up action "Roll Up Your Sleeves".
Ivan Jagić is a person whose wife from New Zealand was a speaker at one of the protests for safe air, Petar Jeftić is a person who deals with programming and has nothing to do with protests, and Aleksandra Bulatović is a research associate and doctor of law. All four are parents of small children, Eco Watch stated.
Vrsac
During the day, the police suddenly searched the apartment and activists of the Keepers of the Fire in Vršac, also for allegedly calling for the violent overthrow of the constitutional order. Her phone was taken from her, which she described in a post on social networks as "routine intimidation."
Zorana Crnojević, who is five months pregnant, stated in a post on Facebook that she is free and physically fine, but that she cannot contact her friends and fellow activists because her phone was confiscated.
"Just be brave, this is purely routine intimidation (I hear that more activists were harassed today). We know that we are on the right side of history and that we are fighting for a better society with legitimate means of rebellion, and the attack on individuals will not affect all those who are bound by the common idea of a democratically regulated legal state and a healthy environment," she said.
The guardians of the fire stated on social networks that the reason for the search of her apartment was allegedly "calling for the overthrow of the constitutional order".
Vranje, Vrbas
Activists of the Ecological Uprising in Vranje and Vrbas were detained today and their homes were searched for the alleged "destruction of the constitutional order", said the representative of that organization, Aleksandar Jovanović Ćuta, stating that it was an attempt to intimidate people who are fighting for their country and the inhabitants of Gornji Sunday.
Member of the Environmental Uprising in Vranje and activist Dragan Antić, who was detained today, is suspected of the criminal offense of "calling for a violent change in the constitutional order", said his lawyer Igor Zlatković, also a member of the Vranje City Assembly.
Zlatković told the Info Vranjske portal that the authorities have not announced what exactly Antic is being charged with and what actions he may have committed for the criminal offense for which he is suspected.
According to Zlatković, Antic was detained for an information interview illegally.
Dragan Jovanović said that the same is currently happening with activist Zoran Tešić in Vrbas, who is also in custody under the same charge, reports N1.
