The Serbian authorities gave permission to exhume the body Fatona Hajrizi takes over and transports to Kosovo, it was announced from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Pristina, reports KoSSev.
They state that Adrianit Koci, the lawyer of the Hajrizi family, with the help of the head of the Liaison Office with Belgrade, Yetiš Jašari, is carrying out the necessary procedures so that the body can be transported, according to KoSSev.
On the other hand, they add that they will inform the public about further procedures related to identification.
However, immediately before the Kosovo government's announcement, Pristina's Koha reported, citing its sources, that it was confirmed that the person who was killed in mid-July in Loznica was Faton Hajrizi, and that by analyzing a sample taken from his mother.
Let us recall that Hajrizi was killed on June 19 in Loznica after he killed one and wounded another police officer, and then fled the scene.
He was killed by members of the MUP of Serbia after a short search.
This person, otherwise convicted in Kosovo for murdering a Russian soldier, robbing and wounding policemen, escaped from prison in Smrekovnica at the beginning of July. Hajrizi escaped from prison nine times.
His escape initially captured the attention of the public in Kosovo, because Hajrizi, although a recidivist and accused of serious crimes, was already a kind of media celebrity, through the numerous interviews he gave for the Kosovo media over the years; that the wider Serbian and regional public would learn about him after the murder of a policeman near Loznica.
