President of the Serbian National Council in Croatia Boris Milosevic he posted on Facebook that he received anonymously threatening letter which is signed with "Croatian defender" and the Ustasha salute "Ready for home".
In the letter, Boris Milošević was called an "unshaven Chetnik", "one of the Chetnik leaders in Croatia, but also in the Serbian world", and the Serbian People's Council "the Chetnik People's Council".
"Someone took courage and made an effort to put threats and hate speech on paper and send it by mail," Milošević wrote on Facebook, along with a photo of the letter.
The letter also mentions the camps in Jasenovac and Jadovno, and states that the Ustasha greeting is "Ready for home!" was "a motive for Croatian defenders in the war of the 1990s, especially those from the Croatian Defense Forces (HOS), in the fight against the Chetniks".
The signature is "Croatian defender", with the Ustasha salute "Za dom spremni", reports the portal of the Croatian weekly Novosti.
Milosevic reported the threatening letter to the police.
Threats after the speech
The threatening letter to Milošević came after he said on Saturday that in Croatia the glorification of the Ustasha and the Independent State of Croatia must be condemned by politics, the media, civil associations and citizens. Otherwise, as he stated, the Croatian state and society are going to ruin. Milošević said this in Banski Grabovac, at the commemoration of the anniversary of the beginning of the uprising in Banija under the leadership of Vasilj Gaćeša, and the commemoration of the victims of Ustasha reprisals.
