The first man of the state called those who opposed "jerks". the demolition of the General Staff. Reacting to Jared Kushner's company's announcement about exiting the project, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić asked journalists what they expected the announcement to say.
"What did you expect people to write? We are withdrawing because there are idiots there who do not want a 750 million euro investment and who enjoy looking at demolished buildings from 26 years ago, that they will remain like that for the next 100 years? What did you expect them to say? That there are idiots there who do not want American investments. Well, of course they won't," said Vučić.
He said that he would "personally" prepare and file criminal charges against all those who undermined the project at the General Staff. Under the auspices of that accusation, he placed all those he thinks are guilty - in the police, the prosecutor's office, as well as "all other persons" who, as he said, contributed to the collapse and economic undermining of the Republic of Serbia.
The public of Serbia is curiously waiting to see the wording of the criminal charges that will be filed by the citizen Aleksandar Vučić.
He wants to answer, but he has a hellish plan
The President of the country then let it out and shared with the journalists the incredible strategy he is planning after of the TOK indictment against the Minister of Culture Nikola Selaković and three more suspects in the General Staff case. He asked that they accuse him instead.
"Don't blame them. It's my fault, I wanted such a big investment to come to our country," he added, and called the entire proposal of the indictment "shameful, miserable, disgusting political manipulation."
However, it is useless for the president to declare himself guilty like this. The competent prosecuting authorities need evidence, so if there is a document with his signature in which he encourages state functionaries to commit criminal acts, or if he wants to admit that he did it, let him attach a written confession.
However, he hinted that he is also "a competent authority, so maybe he will make some decisions."
"Let me tell you right now, I want to answer for that. Not Minister Selaković, not Mrs. Jelača... So, I want to answer," said Vučić.
Nevertheless, he gave away his idea - that "in the same second, he will pardon all others against whom an indictment may be filed."
Nobody wants to go!
The president was especially upset when he was a guest on RTS in Drugi dnevnik. He announced that, apparently scandalously, he canceled his participation in the EU-Western Balkans meeting. And not only him.
He says, for the first time in 14 years, no one will go on behalf of the Republic of Serbia, so let them see how they will do without us.
"I made such a decision, I am guilty, I will not allow the government to suffer pressure," he added.
Listen, good people.
He still showed understanding, but for the "good people" in Ćaciland.
Speaking about the tent settlement, Vučić announced that he would personally try to ask the crowd to withdraw and clear the road, noting that he is not sure whether his appeal will be accepted.
"Whether they will listen to me or not, I can't tell you. I'm not sure, but that will definitely be my request," Vučić told reporters in Belgrade.
He stated that these are "good people who guarded their country and managed to defend it".
"In the coming days, I will go to visit those good people who guarded their country against ill-mannered, rude thugs who attacked them almost every day. And they managed to defend the country, to bring victory to the free Serbian state. That's how it was and that's how it will be," he said.
He teaches journalists what parents do not
Vučić reacted quite violently to the questions of N1 journalist Mladen Savatović regarding the General Staff case. First, he began his answer to our journalist's question with the words "you will not stop lying, because it is your only policy and the only thing you do."
When Savatović tried to ask the president sub-questions, Vučić resented it and asked him not to "spell at him".
"I can only ask you, don't throw insults at me. The fact that you are rude, that you are rude and ill-mannered, that mom and dad didn't teach you basic order, that's your problem. And I'm going to teach you, you'll get an answer to your insults. I'll teach you order when your parents didn't teach you that. Shame on you," Vučić told the journalist.
