Suspect BK, member of the commission for technical review of works on Railway station in Novi Sad, was arrested last night at Belgrade's "Nikola Tesla" airport after returning from Italy, RTS learns.
BK was arrested by the UKP, on the order of the Special Department for Suppression of Corruption of the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade, which yesterday arrested four more of her colleagues for failing in their work, which resulted in the fall of the canopy at the railway station on November 1, 2024, reports RTS.
As a reminder, 15 people died and two were seriously injured in the fall of the canopy.
