The PSG will support the extraordinary parliamentary elections To the student movement, and he also announced the same Green-Left Front (ZLF).
Prior to that, on September 8, the Civic Movement Solidarity announced that it would participate in the next elections together with the Freedom and Justice Party and the Serbia Center Party (SRCE).
PSG announced a few days ago that it will take part in the upcoming elections only if all parties gathered around the Platform for European Serbia and National Serbia appear in a single column.
"We believe that the gathering of all political parties that have the same plan for Serbia is the only correct way to replace the current regime and change the direction of the country, and that a separate exit could threaten changes in Serbia," the party statement states.
PSG made this decision after the president of the Freedom and Justice Party, Dragan Đilas, confirmed to N1 that Miroslav Aleksić informed him and his party that the People's Movement of Serbia will not be in a coalition with the Platform for European Serbia in the upcoming elections, within which the SSP also operates.
"Miroslav Aleksić informed us that they decided to go alone, that they think they will get more votes that way and that's it," Đilas told the media.
If there is no broad coalition, PSG will support the student list, provided that their actions and attitudes do not contradict our basic principles, they added at the time.
"Our decision is not to give up our own values, but to represent them more strongly through a joint performance with political partners who also see Serbia in the European Union. The goal is to defeat this regime together, and then to decisively lead Serbia along the path of European integration," PSG stated on September 6.
The Green-Left Front (ZLF) announced on Wednesday that it will support the Student List in the extraordinary parliamentary elections on October 25.
In a post on Facebook, they stated that they are not participating in the parliamentary elections, but are supporting the list of the Student Movement because, as they wrote, they believe that this is the best way to change the government.
"We are here to support the fight for a democratic, socially just, ecologically sustainable and European Serbia!", reads the ZLF announcement.
