Suspect KV (21) from Novi Sad, ST (21) from Veternik and BV (18) from Novi Sad, who are charged with the crime of assault on an official, were released.
The Basic Court in Novi Sad adds for portal 021 that two people from Odžak, MM (40) and KF (37), were also released.
They were banned from visiting certain places where registered and unregistered public gatherings are held and protests in Serbia.
Several people in custody
According to the decision of the Basic Court, KG (38) and MD (23) from Novi Sad, who were detained for the criminal offense of violent behavior, as well as SM (40) from Odžak for the criminal offense of assault on an official in the performance of official duties, are still in custody.
Since yesterday (August 20), the provincial representative of the Movement of Free Citizens, Radivoje Jovović, has also been in custody, while the activist of that party, Isidora Čeleketić, has been placed under house arrest. "Time" has already written.
Suspects BN and J.B, who are charged with the criminal offense of violent behavior at a sports event or public meeting, were detained for up to 30 days.
On August 18, the judge for the preliminary proceedings ordered custody of up to 30 days for M. D, K. D, V. N, PV and V. D, who are suspected of attacking members of the "Cobra" unit on August 13 in front of the premises of the Serbian Progressive Party in Novi Sad.
Blockade of the court
In response to the arrests and detention, citizens organized a blockade of the Novi Sad court on Tuesday and Wednesday, August 19 and 20, demanding the release of those detained.
The students point out that their colleagues are also among those arrested. And then clashes broke out, and strong police forces in equipment for breaking up demonstrations managed to break the blockade and allow employees to enter the building.
Students and citizens are organizing a protest in front of the court on Thursday (August 21), but without a blockade. They are doing this, as they say, because they were told by the court that the employees cannot enter the building and therefore cannot work on the cases of those detained after the protest.
