activist Serbian Progressive Party iz Panceva went further than their colleagues from other cities throughout Serbia, so they wrote the pre-election slogan "Serbia wins" at the intersection in the center of this city, at the place where 16 minutes of silence is held for those who died in the fall of the canopy in Novi Sad.
The local committee of the Green-Left Front claims that this mural on the road was painted with police protection, with the assessment that public roads should not be a space for party propaganda or political marking of the city.
In the statement, they stated that they know who is behind those actions, but did not specify who they were referring to, adding that the fact that such activities are carried out at night, "without transparency and without any explanation to the citizens, is of particular concern."
The Green-Left Front reminded that public roads are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia and that unauthorized writing, coating or changing the visual appearance of the roadway can endanger traffic safety and damage public property.
