From caps, calendars and umbrellas, to bicycles "for our youngest", all the way to oil, flour and firewood.
It is not unknown that members of the Serbian Progressive Party give gifts to voters before the elections, on the contrary - they brag about it on social networks, often with photos and videos.
The law on the financing of political activities as part of election campaign expenses prohibits the financing of activities of a humanitarian nature.
That didn't stop the SNS City Committee in Kraljevo from posting a photo on Instagram and literally describing it like this: "Progressives from Kraljevo continue with humanitarian actions."
Nemanja Nenadić, program director of Transparency Serbia, told "Vreme" that there are solutions to warn SNS and SPS about this practice.
But nothing happens after that.

What is "promotional material"?
The problem, Nenadić tells us, is that the parties have the right to share promotional materials as they please. Say, pens and lighters, but who says that "promotional material" can't be more valuable?
"Although among citizens, sharing such items could create effects very similar to giving bribes in connection with voting," warns Nenadić.
It is absurd that the law does not define the type and value of promotional material, says Nenadić. Handing out a gift worth two thousand dinars, he adds, is the same as giving someone a two thousand dinars bill with a party sticker.
The practice of gift giving
After several interventions by the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, the Serbian Progressive Party changed its practice a little, explains Nenadić.
"While in earlier years gifts were presented as gifts given by a political party or as free services to citizens organized by a political party, in recent years they are presented as gifts that come from the 'personal funds' of party members," concludes Nenad Nenadić. .
