Criminal report for cutting down the forest in Košutnjak
The criminal complaint followed the ignoring of the call to the institutions to declare who and why cut the forest in Košutnjak
Darko Šper, journalist and trustee of the "Nezavisnost" trade union, ended his hunger strike after seven days, and the trade union headquarters will continue the fight with the management of Radio-television Vojvodina
After a week, the journalist and chief trustee of the Trade Union "Nezavisnost" in Radio Television of Vojvodina (RTV) Darko Speer he ended his hunger strike.
The headquarters of the "Nezavisnost" trade union announced that, if the demands are not met, they will also file lawsuits.
Among the demands is the dismissal of the editor-in-chief of the First Program of RTV Nenad Ćaćić.
Director General Goran Karadžić signed a request to the Board of Directors to announce competitions for editorial and director positions, for which "due to unjustified reasons" have been waiting for more than a year, in front of the president of the European Federation of Journalists, Maja Sever, who visited Špera on March 19.
Among the demands are the new systematization of workplaces, as well as the completion of negotiations on the new Collective Agreement.
Employees from minority newsrooms receive lower salaries, even though they do the same work as their colleagues on the First Program, which, according to Speer, is unacceptable.
"There is no more sense in going on a hunger strike"
The doctor's findings, as he says, are that his health condition would begin to deteriorate today, but also that "there is no longer any sense" in going on a hunger strike when you have in front of you an administration like the one at RTV.
"It became clear that, even with the most radical union measures such as a hunger strike, they do not make sense if the employer does not know what social dialogue is and does not understand the problems of the employees that he found when he came and promised to solve them. This paper, which the director considers to be the answer, clearly shows that," said Speer.
At the director's request to at least temporarily increase the salaries of people who have been discriminated against for years, but also to systematically equalize the coefficients of employees in the same jobs, he received a response that said he did not even fulfill the administrative form, let alone get to the point.
"The answer does not mention the employees, nor the vulnerable, nor the employees in minority newsrooms who are undervalued compared to their colleagues who work in the First Program," said Šper.
"RTV did not want to take advantage of the last hand"
The president of the United Branch Trade Unions (UGS) Nezavisnost Čedanka Andrić hoped to meet the director on Monday (March 24), but as she says, the management of RTV did not want to use even this last hand.
"I am satisfied that Speer stopped the strike, we were worried about his health. You can read this answer from the director five times, but nothing will be clear to you, because he does not say anything and it is not an answer that gives you the opportunity to ask anything additional. For us, this definitely remains a priority for the entire union and we will keep this topic in the public eye, and we will also put pressure through international trade union organizations," she said.
She assessed that even those requests that were fulfilled were fulfilled in a "circumventive way", because they require further elaboration and monitoring in order to see whether the promised will be fulfilled.
"On Thursday (March 27), we will continue negotiations regarding the collective agreement, colleagues from the headquarters will come who are the best negotiators we can offer, and I hope that this request - to conclude the collective agreement to the end - will be fulfilled, and then let's see how these people, who are the most discriminated against, can reach satisfaction," she said.

"You will not scare us with your regime lawsuits, and let what follows scare you," the students said
"If the students initiate the articulation of elections, with or without opposition parties, Zajedno and DS will certainly support any decision they make or the university list," says Biljana Stojković, a professor at the Faculty of Biology.
Ana Brnabić boasted about the small share of secondary schools on strike or with interruptions in classes due to protests... But that share is not so small
Students of the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad demand the calling of extraordinary parliamentary elections. Political analyst Dragoljub Anđelković tells "Vreme" that striving for elections at some point makes sense, but not under the existing conditions, and individual statements only bring discord and benefit Vučić.
