On the electoral list "Bogoljub Karic – Movement of Serbian Forces” for parliamentary elections on October 25 there are seven candidates from Novi Sad. Among them are people with experience in the hotel industry, higher education, police, energy, media and politics, as well as entrepreneurs.
The first on the list is Bogoljub Karić, behind him is his wife Milanka, while the third place went to his brother Dragomir. Among the candidates from Novi Sad are Ivona Borojević, Stanimir Đukić, Tihomir Simić, Branko Ivanišević, Danilo Sivč, Dragana Korica and Tanja Tot, portal 021 reports.
Ivona Borojevic
Ivona Borojević, a graduate engineer from Sremska Kamenica, is in tenth place on the election list. She was born in 1984 in Kotor, and received her master's degree from the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad.
According to her biography published on one of the FTN blogs, Borojević was the first student to graduate from that course.
She worked in the hotel and hospitality industry for more than ten years. She started her professional career in 2008 at the Prezident company, after which she became the general manager of the Prezident Hotel.
She was also the vice president of the Association of Hoteliers of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, while in 2017 she received the award "Leader of the Hotel Industry of Serbia".
Stanimir Djukic
Stanimir Đukić is a candidate from the 78th place on the list, and according to his official biography, he is a regular professor at Alfa BK University.
He was born in 1962. He finished elementary school in Čelarevo, after which he attended the Internal Affairs High School in Sremska Kamenica. He received his higher education at the Military Academy in Belgrade, while he defended his master's thesis and doctoral dissertation at the Educons University.
Đukić spent part of his working life in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Serbia. He worked as a police officer from 1981 to 1983, and from August 1987 he was again engaged in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where he performed more responsible jobs and tasks.
He is a member of the International Police Association IPA and the Serbian Association of Corporate Security Managers SAMKB.
He has been working at Union Nikola Tesla University in Belgrade since 2016, while since 2019 he has also been employed at Alfa BK University in Belgrade.
Tihomir Simic
In 108th place is Tihomir Simić, former director of Elektrovojvodina.
He came to head that company in November 2010, at the suggestion of the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina. He was dismissed from his position in October 2012, after the change of leadership in the EPS.
Simić was previously the director of BK Television for many years, the vice president of BK Media Group and the president of the Association of Industrialists within the Bogoljub Karić movement. As a member of Karić's party, he also served as vice president of the Executive Council of Vojvodina.
His academic work was once the subject of interest of 021.rs. That portal wrote in 2012 that Simić earned his doctorate at the unaccredited Hawaiian university Western Pacific University. At the time, Simić did not want to comment on those allegations.
Branko Ivanisevic
Entrepreneur Branko Ivanišević is on the 118th position of the election list. In 2018, Bogoljub Karić was appointed as the president of the new city board of the Serbian Power Movement in Novi Sad.
According to data available on the party's website, Ivanišević is a member of the Executive Board of the Main Board of the Serbian Power Movement.
Among the candidates from Novi Sad, entrepreneur Danilo Sivč, graduate engineer for business management Dragana Korica and entrepreneur Tanja Tot are on the list.
A total of seven candidates from Novi Sad appear on Bogoljub Karić's list with different professional biographies - from hotel management and university careers, through police and state functions, to energy, media and private entrepreneurship.
