The association "Naša mesna zajednica" filed a complaint with the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption against the chief urban planner of the City of Belgrade, Marko Stojčić, due to a conflict of interest.
As stated in the announcement, Stojčić abused his position as a public official and thereby benefited himself and related persons, i.e. through his companies he acquired six apartments and made a profit of 79 million dinars through a conflict of interest.
In this association, they state that just one month after Stojičić became the deputy president of the Commission for Commission Plans, this body adopted an urban planning project for the construction of a four-story building of over 1.700 square meters at Vladetina 22 in the Belgrade municipality of Palilula.
"The investor is the company Vladetina 22 doo whose owner was 50 percent Marko Stojčić through the Institute for Contemporary Architecture doo. The second owner with 50 percent was the company Jugogradnja, and Stojčić subsequently became the owner of 100 percent of the company Vladetina 22 doo. The urban project for Vladetina 22 was developed by the Institute for contemporary architecture doo whose owner is also Marko Stojčić. The designer of the urban planning project was Marko Stojčić, and the responsible urban planner was his father Stojan Stojčić", they state in the association "Naša mesna zajednica".
They explain that unlike urban plans - plans of detailed regulation, general regulation plan and general urban plan adopted by the Assembly of the City of Belgrade, the Commission for Plans of the City Assembly of Belgrade decides on the confirmation or rejection of urban projects. Location conditions are issued on the basis of the confirmed urban planning project, and building permits are issued on the basis of them."
As stated in the statement, Marko Stojčić is the sole owner of Vladetina 2022 doo since February 22, and this company has also been attached to the Open Studio of the City of Arhitekton doo since August 2022.
"During the merger, the company Vladetina 22 doo transferred the entire property to the company Otvoreni atelje grada Arhitekton doo, including the registered two apartments, office space and 8 garages, the estimated value of which is 79 million dinars. In the cadastre records, there are 3 apartments that are registered with the Open Studio of the City of Arhitekton, 2 of which were re-registered after the merger of Vladetina 22 doo. which was the subject of annexation", the Association "Naša mesna zajednica" points out.
