Among them are two policemen and a cameraman of the Radio and Television of Serbia, while the police will file a criminal complaint against one person for an attack after a meeting of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS).
270 opposition citizens
The announcement states that there were about 15.000 citizens at the reported SNS meeting on Partizana Square, and that public order and peace were disturbed when a 40-year-old man from Užice was slightly injured in the garden of a nearby restaurant, after which he received medical attention.
On the recordings published by some television stations, it can be seen that the 40-year-old man was beaten by a group of men who some of the media claim were providing security for the SNS rally.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Interior's announcement states that around 270 "opposition-oriented citizens gathered unannounced on the Small Square in Užice with the intention of entering the reported public gathering, which was prevented by members of the Police Intervention Unit."
