Metropolitan Gregory of Germany underwent a surgical intervention due to a problem with the gall bladder. According to his office, the operation at the Emergency Center in Belgrade was successful, and the metropolitan is recovering.
Cabinet Metropolitan Gregory informed the public that the Archbishop of Dusseldorf-Berlin and Metropolitan of Germany was admitted to the hospital during the night between Wednesday and Thursday due to health problems related to the gall bladder.
"We want to inform the public that His Eminence, Archbishop of Dusseldorf-Berlin and Metropolitan of Germany Mr. Grigorije, was hospitalized in the night hours between Wednesday and Thursday due to complications with the gallbladder, and that this morning he underwent a successful surgical intervention in the Belgrade Emergency Center," the cabinet's announcement states.
The cabinet thanked the medical staff for the professional and dedicated care they provided to the metropolitan, while expressing gratitude to all those who expressed concern.
"We are pleased to inform the faithful and the public that the Metropolitan is recovering successfully and will soon be able to resume his daily duties," the office of Metropolitan Grigori said.
"It is unworthy of her office to declare that they are applying Nazi ideology for the best that this country has - youth and intelligence, the future of this country," stated the statement of the Academic Plenum, along with a request for the immediate resignation of Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabić
