Three white vans without license plates are parked right next to the Presidency building, a highly protected facility. Is there any special operation in the middle and whose vehicles are there, which were also there during the noise on Saturday
Cobra soldier cold stare and car bomb threat operation.
Any citizen who tried to park his car next to the perimeter entrance of the New Palace, better known as the Presidency building or the official work location of Aleksandar Vučić, would probably face this scene. If he had taken off the plates before that, the question is how many seconds would have passed before he would have been detained.
That is why there is a mystery, not one, but three white vans in Ulica kralja Milana, which have been parked next to the Presidency for the last few days - without plates.
"Vremena" sources say that neither the military policemen at Kobra, nor the MUP, normally do not remove their registration even when they go on secret missions. However, only a few days before the protest, an amendment to the Regulation on special and special police units came into force, according to which the intervention police get wider powers, they can use civilian passenger cars as well as off-road vehicles - without police markings.
Eyewitnesses of the waves
Three white vans were there, in the crowd, and during the ominous wave, which the state has not yet confirmed, which hit Ulica Kralja Milana at the famous 19:11 on Saturday March 15 during the silence.
Even then they were without plates, although on one of them in the photos it can be seen that someone has stuck - pump.
"The vans were here, parked on the sidewalk, one after the other. There was little room for pedestrians to pass behind them, and then the police cordon that blocked the passage between these two buildings towards Andrićev venc," reads a statement for "Vreme" provided by one of the protest's eyewitnesses. "They acted as a physical barrier to assist the police."
People who contacted the newsroom to write about the strange symptoms they felt on Saturday evening also say that they noticed the faded remnants of some inscriptions on the vans.
French market and Serbian MUP
The three white Peugeot vans were photographed by the editorial staff of "Vremena" every following day and made sure that (at least until the publication of this text on Thursday, March 20) they had not been moved.
The pale remnant of the inscription is the logo of the French store chain "E.Leclerc", which has the nearest market - in Slovenia. The vans are probably used vehicles, as you can see that the logo of the French company has been removed, and only a trace of the foil remains.
The last one in the series blocks the passage to Andrić's wreath, which is under constant surveillance.

The Presidency building next to Kobra is also guarded by the police, unlike the Stari dvor across the street, which is guarded both outside and inside by members of the MUP.
The MUP has not yet answered the questions of Vremena as to how it is possible for vehicles without license plates to be parked in front of the Presidency, as well as who approved the parking of vehicles without plates in such a sensitive location.
Covert operation
"Vremena" sources say that the MUP never removes license plates, but if the police are on an undercover mission, they drive cars with ordinary license plates.
However, with the amendment of the decree, on March 12, the government adopted the possibility for the intervention unit of the police to drive passenger and many other vehicles, and in the amendments there is a gray legal zone - without police markings.
"The state, which normally drugs the legal system with decrees since 2020 and decrees on the introduction of a state of emergency, potentially leaves the possibility for off-road vehicles to be without any plates," an expert on security legislation explains to "Vreme".
We saw vehicles without license plates for the first time in 2014 during the election day in Lucani, and they also appeared in numerous reports of the election controller when irregularities and influence on voters were reported.
Former Police Commissioner Božo Prelevic tells "Vreme" that he has never seen an MUP vehicle without license plates and that this is not a practice.
"The MUP has marked vehicles, unless it is a secret operation, then it has ordinary license plates. Rather, I think that these are vehicles of natural persons that were given for the needs of Ćaciland or the transportation of hooligans. The state sees them under the window, but apparently has no problem with that," he says.
Proof – three colorful tractors
The last doubt was when three white vans appeared in Kralja Milan.
On one of the posts from the X social network, but also on numerous media contributions and photos, it can be seen that on March 14, the vans were not parked near Andrićevo venc.
Three parked tractors that were driven by unknown drivers the day before the big student protest served as evidence.
The tractors, interestingly, did not have license plates either.

Irish journalist Chey Bowes recorded the first part of a documentary called "War from the Shadows", which deals with the influence of foreign powers that are brokering Serbia and allegedly leading a "color revolution". Who does this man who lives in Moscow and is referred to as "Informer" actually work for?
Two weeks before the local elections in Zaječar, an all-day student protest will be held in that city. And the government is aware of the importance of the upcoming elections, because it has been sending heavyweights from the very top of the Serbian Progressive Party to the field for some time

While the government is planning the preparation of a new Law on Higher Education, the academic community is responding by taking to the streets and protesting. The protest "Let's defend the universities" was held on Friday (May 23) in front of the Government of Serbia, and the organizers, among other things, requested the announcement of elections
