Aleksandar Šapić is obliged to report those who he thinks have taken hundreds of schools, kindergartens, buses, and parks from us - demanded Mila Popović, the president of the City Committee of the Party of Freedom and Justice, regarding the statement of the mayor of Belgrade "that the SNS administration spends a quarter of a billion euros annually on poor and non-existent services and works.
Šapić specifically said that "the money that is being thrown into the well today, which is a quarter of a billion euros, for one mandate of the city government, the city can be built with that money."
Mila Popović says for the "Vremena" portal that "now the new mayor remembered to comment on how GSP receives millions of subsidies from the city. Why didn't he comment on it and protest against it when he was a councilor in the City Assembly? Aleksandar Šapić cannot deviate from his party colleagues, so he was first on the SNS list, on the same list where Goran Vesić was in fourth place. What he did not say in the campaign was that Vesić was offering false promises from his trailer. Does he now want to say that SNS won the elections based on lies?
He insists that Šapić explain "where the money subsidizing GSP goes, when not a single trolleybus or tram has been bought, when Turkish and Chinese buses are bought that no one in Europe wants to buy anymore, when our bus catches fire more and more every day in Belgrade. Let's not talk about the fact that the purchased BMC Turkish gas buses are paid more than the same ones in Novi Sad, and they are not on the streets of Belgrade, but are parked in the importer's parking lot, because we still don't have a gas station."
Mila Popović says that the SSP sent "over 60 councilor questions that were sent to us by citizens from all over Belgrade, and we still haven't received an answer to any of them, even though the deadline for answers is 15 days."
In fact, in one hundred days of the new city government, only one initiative of all the parties that are not in power was answered, the SSP initiative to ban the operation of betting shops near schools.
Mila Popović says that "it is the best indicator of how this city government functions and what their attitude is towards the citizens of Belgrade".
