A boy from Šabac ended up in the hospital after another student pushed him down the stairs

Student of the first grade of "Vuk Karadžić" Elementary School from Sabac, who was injured in an incident at school, when he was pushed on the stairs, was hospitalized in Šabac hospital, in the children's department, the boy's mother announced on Facebook.

"To inform the public, an hour ago my son was hospitalized in the Šabac hospital in the children's ward, his condition has worsened, unfortunately, he will endure everything, my son," reads her announcement with a plea to the media to be patient until, as she stated, her brave Leo leaves the hospital and recovers.

Boy after the examination, he was released for home treatment and his minor injuries were confirmed.

"Head injury, wrist injury, his arm is fixed," the mother told Prva.

The director of the "Vuk Karadžić" Elementary School in Šabac, Mirjana Pakić, explained to "Blic" that she was informed about the events at the elementary school, and that the school did everything in accordance with the law.

In her answer, she stated that it was about one attacker.

"On May 20, 2025, in the school yard of our school, there was an incident between a first and second grade student. On that occasion, a first grade student was injured. The school implements the procedure provided for in the Rulebook on the protocol of actions in the institution in response to violence, abuse and neglect - wrote in the answer of the principal of "Vuk Karadžić" Elementary School, Mirjana Pakić.

According to unofficial information, this case was taken over by the Higher Public Prosecutor's Office in Šabac, according to whose order the police are acting.
