All international observers saw it and spoke clearly about it, and I expect that the resolution of the European Parliament will be as clear and concrete as well," co-president Zeleno- of the left front, Radomir Lazović
Scheduling constitutive sessions of the National Assembly before the session of the European Parliament is Vučić's attempt to hide from international condemnation for the stolen elections, the co-president of the Green-Left Front Radomir Lazović tells "Vreme".
"I don't think it will help him because the whole world saw that he brutally stole the election." All international observers saw it and spoke clearly about it, and I expect that the EP resolution will be just as clear and concrete. After that, I expect to start discussions on how to improve the electoral conditions in the repeated elections", emphasizes Lazović.
The media announced that constitutive session of the Assembly of Serbia to be held on February 6, although the opposition requested that it be left after the adoption of the European Parliament's resolution, which will be discussed on February 8 and 9.
The holder of the "Serbia against violence" list, Marinika Tepić, said that the government should not have waited.
"From 'I don't really care' about the European Parliament and the Resolution on the elections in Serbia on February 8, to the rapid constitution of the Assembly before that on February 6. Yesterday, we asked for a session after February 8. They didn't dare! Because fraudsters inflated their percentages with organized electoral crime," wrote the vice-president of the Party of Freedom and Justice on the X social network.

The opposition's request was also confirmed by Biljana Đorđević, co-president of the Green-Left Front and member of parliament in the previous convocation of the parliament in front of the "Moramo" coalition.
"We believe that there was enough time to wait for this resolution." But it is obvious that the session is being rushed to avoid that," Đorđević told "Vreme".
SNS says that the resolution is not relevant
The president of the Serbian Progressive Party Miloš Vucevic said on Tuesday that the resolution of the European Parliament is interesting, but not relevant for the constitution of the new convocation of the parliament.
Prime Minister Ana Brnabić clarified that "no resolution of the European Parliament" is awaited, and the elections in Serbia are over, democratic, transparent and fair, FoNet agency reports.
Extraordinary parliamentary, provincial and partly local elections were held in Serbia on December 17 elections, which international and domestic observers found that they had a series of irregularities.
The largest opposition coalition "Serbia Against Violence" does not recognize their results and accuses the ruling Serbian Progressive Party of election theft. SNS rejects the accusations.
Request for an international commission
Radomir Lazović repeated that the opposition demands an international commission that would oversee the necessary changes that would lead to holding new elections in fair circumstances.
"International observers, as well as domestic ones, saw not only the buying of votes, pressure on voters, a disastrous media image, media smearing of the opposition, but also a completely new level of fraud, bringing in voters and engineering with the voter list," Lazović reminded.
"This is simply too big a scam to pass." Serbia is in a deep political crisis and the only way out is to admit that election theft happened, to hold elections again, but in improved conditions", said Radomir Lazović, the first on the list of "Serbia against violence" for the republican parliament.
