Šabac, Požarevac, Belgrade, Niš, Jagodina, Zrenjanin, Čačak... On May 30 and June 1, the whole of Serbia will be on its feet. In which places are students calling for new protests over the weekend?
Sabac on Saturday, all of Serbia on Sunday - that's how the new call for protest looks like students in lockdown.
On Friday (May 30), a protest called "We want elections" will be held in Belgrade, called for by the students in the blockade.
The start of the protest is scheduled for 16.30:XNUMX p.m. in front of the former railway station on Sava Square, and the protest walk will move along Nemanja Street to Slavija Square, then along Kralja Milan and Knez Miloš streets to the Government of Serbia building.
On the same day, students will hold a day-long protest in Nis. They announced that the protest will begin with a sixteen-minute silence at 11.52:9 a.m. in front of the University of Niš building, and before the start of the protest, the students announced a "student cafe" from XNUMX a.m. Various activities are planned throughout the day.
After the decision of all faculties to start with online compensation of classes, Niš students in the blockade called for a boycott of online classes. They have been blocking the University building for more than a week, and they said that the blockade will last until the rector of the University of Nis signs the Platform of the University of Nis, a document prepared by students, which represents the University's official position regarding the ongoing student blockade. As the students stated, the document "serves as a basis for starting a dialogue with state institutions."

"Are we going to Šabac for a protest?", the students asked on May 19, with the announcement that a protest would be held in Šabac on May 31.
The protest in that city will begin at 11.52:1 a.m., with a sixteen-minute silence in honor of the victims of the fall of the canopy at the railway station in Novi Sad on November XNUMX last year. After the silence, war veterans will lay wreaths for the victims.
The main program of the protest starts at 16:XNUMX p.m., and the plan is to end the rally a few minutes after midnight.
Students and pupils from Loznica are walking to Šabac, and cyclists from Novi Sad, Loznica and other cities have also announced their arrival at the protest. The relay race to Šabac will start in Belgrade on Saturday at 7:18 a.m., and the plan is for the runners to arrive in this city around XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.

Sunday: Požarevac…
On the occasion of seven months since the tragedy at the Railway Station in Novi Sad, students from Požarevac have scheduled a large protest in that city for June 1st under the name "PO spas za sve nas".
They pointed out that "due to the repression and disrespect of the pupils' and students' plenum, a series of blockades and suppression of protests took place in Požarevac".
"That's why we need the help of all students in order to show our fellow citizens that the students are with them, even though we are not a university town. In 1718, the Peace of Požarevac was signed in our city - peace between Austria and the Ottoman Empire. Almost 307 years after the signing of the Peace of Požarevac, the Student Oath will be signed - an oath by which the student swears that he will fight fearlessly for justice and freedom for himself and others," reads the announcement by students from Požarevac.
The protest in Požarevac will start on Sunday at 11 a.m., and the detailed plan of the meeting has not yet been announced. On the eve of the protest, Pozarevac students and citizens blocked the entrance to the City Assembly building, after students and high school students coming to the protest on June 1 were forbidden to sleep in the Sports Hall in that city.

Prime Minister Đuro Macut and Minister of Police Ivica Dacic brought eight water tanks to Svrljiga on loan, in order to ease the city's state of emergency due to water shortages. Citizens claim that their arrival was incomparably more expensive than the value of the reservoir

Aleksandar Vučić is no longer able to restore balance in the rebellious society. This is best seen in the level of speech: none of his remarks go through anymore
If we are neutral while students are being imprisoned, girls and boys are being beaten for God's justice, democracy is being suppressed, dissenters are being dehumanized, corruption is continuing that kills and many other evil things are being done - then nothing
