A friend of Nestorović from the Belgrade list could wake up as a millionaire - that's what political scientist Dejan Bursać wrote on Twitter on election night.
Even then, it was clear that councilors from the "We - Voice of the People" list would be able to be kingmakers.
Admittedly, we still have to wait and see if, according to the City Election Commission's count, the Progressives and Socialists together have 54 or 55 mandates, but it is clear that they lack one or two in order to form a majority in the 110-seat chamber.
Controversial doctor Branimir Nestorovic, star of YouTube and Happy, immediately ruled out the possibility of coalitions in the city. So there was another, very obvious possibility - that one or two councilors defected on their own.
Now Nestorović says that some candidates for councilors have already received offers to move to "other councilor groups". These were allegedly "six-figure offers, not in dinars, and some positions".
"If someone sells out, I think he's an idiot, because our movement will grow," said Nestorovic. He added that he hopes for a repeat of the Belgrade elections soon and that it will go even better there because it is now even more people heard about them.
He claims that all the candidates for councilors assure him that they will not give in, but he reminds that he cannot do anything about it - the mandate belongs to the person, not to the list or the party.
Councilors came on recommendation?
In an earlier appearance on the YouTube channel Balkan info, future MP Aleksandar Pavić also spoke about the possibility that some of their councilors in Belgrade could be bought.
"There are a couple of councilors that I don't know at all," Pavić said. "They came there by recommendation. Because, honestly, when we joined together, I personally only thought about the republic."
"A couple of councilors in the Belgrade assembly are a potential weak point, but I won't lie, they might be tough," he added. And if someone is sold? "They will be permanently politically dead."
It wouldn't be the first time that Naprednjaci marketed councilors. This happened the other day in Ljig, and it also happened after last year's elections in Belgrade, when they were "reinforced" by people from POKS and Zavetnik.
Who are the potential "idiots"?
The first on the list for councilors in Belgrade is Nestorović himself. If he decides to be only a deputy, then he would give up his seat to the seventh on the list.
The second is Aleksandar Jerković, the nominal candidate for mayor. He is a deputy of the old convocation of the Assembly, where he joined the NADA coalition last year, but was expelled from the parliamentary club.
The third is Jerković's colleague in the deputy's office, mechanical engineer Vesna Jakić. The fourth is a gynecologist and obstetrician at the maternity hospital "Narodni Front" Borisav Antonijević, a fighter against premarital sexual relations and a man who claims that homosexuality can be cured.
And Antonijević will also become a member of parliament, so he too could be replaced in Belgrade by the eighth on the list.
Fifth on the city list was entrepreneur Katarina Kovačević, then electrical technician Slobodan Đurašinović, then entrepreneur Dragoslav Pejanović and then economist Bojan Spasojević. So, mostly people little known to the public.
While it is being speculated whether Nestorović is really a free shooter or Vučić's player, while the opposition wants to overturn the elections with a hunger strike and evidence of election theft, the numbered future councilors have their own dilemma - to embarrass themselves and get rich or not?
