Irish journalist Chey Bowes recorded the first part of a documentary called "War from the Shadows", which deals with the influence of foreign powers that are brokering Serbia and allegedly leading a "color revolution". Who does this man who lives in Moscow and is referred to as "Informer" actually work for?
"Welcome to Belgrade, to Serbia. Welcome to the shadow war."
This is how the film begins, which is part of a series of documentaries about what is happening in Serbia, and mostly about the alleged flows of foreign money flowing into Serbia from the West through non-governmental sector.
Irish journalist Chey Bowes reports from the center of Belgrade, in his native English. It looks a bit like a BBC report. This film was pompously reported by Informer.
"Bows focused on how foreign actors, including Western governments, philanthropic foundations and NGOs, are shaping the political landscape of Serbia, a country of six million people at the crossroads between East and West," writes "Informer".
"He also analyzed the motives behind foreign funding, the role of NGOs in the protests and the consequences for Serbia's sovereignty", informs the newspaper of Dragan J. Vučićević, and compared Serbia "with other sovereign countries that are going through the same hot rabbit, such as Georgia, Slovakia and Hungary, pointing to a global pattern of foreign interference".

The first part of my documentary investigating the vast NGO network funded by foreign cash and influencers.

Searching for money to destroy Serbia
"We are on the trail of hundreds of millions of euros of foreign money and aid flowing into this country, but also into many others around the world. Right now, a large protest is taking place here - the largest in Serbia in recent decades," Bowes explains in the introduction.
It doesn't matter which way the coin falls in this dispute. He is interested, he says, in money. Where do they come from? Where are they going? And how do they affect the right of ordinary Serbs to make decisions under their flag?
Much more than a journalist
Bowes is Irish, but an Irishman who lives in Moscow and works for "Rasha Tudej". Therefore, he is not a BBC journalist, but an employee of an unofficial public service - the Russian Federation. The network broadcasts a program in English 24 hours a day, non-stop, in 100 different countries on five continents, and has recently been in Serbia as well.
Her idea is soft power - the spread of Russian propaganda around the world among people who do not speak Russian.
Chey Bowes is not just a journalist. He is also a businessman who, at the invitation of Russia, in 2023 addressed the highest decision-making body of the United Nations and supported the Russian invasion.
Then Russia presented him as a "specialist for small arms and ammunition", and at the UN he spoke about the conflict in Ukraine. He told the Security Council that NATO was backing a military "proxy" conflict in a country described by the US State Department as "endemic corrupt".

He added that Ukrainians die on the battlefield in "suicide attacks".
The Ukrainian mission to the UN also called Bouz a "Russian liar."
"We go to the United Nations Security Council for work, not for primitive propaganda broadcasts," the Ukrainians added.
Bowes was detained and expelled from Romania in the spring of 2025, "Rasha Today" reported.
Romanian authorities explained that Bowes was subject to a ban on entry into the country, and Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova accused Romanian authorities of preventing the journalist from doing his job.

What did Bowes reveal in Serbia?
"Listing the most important NGOs, which, according to him, are outposts of foreign influence, Bowes notes that their work in Serbia has a much wider spectrum than just the struggle for power," adds "Informer".
He states that "it is not surprising that Serbia has become a breeding ground for hundreds of foreign NGOs". It mentions "Civic initiatives, the Youth Initiative for Human Rights (YIHR), the Center for Research, Transparency and Accountability (CRTU), as well as the Crime and Corruption Research Network (KRIK) and the Independent Journalists' Association of Serbia (NUNS).
"According to our sources and research, these organizations are the main recipients of Western funding, including funds from notorious organizations such as the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), as well as funds from Great Britain and certain EU countries through their embassies. We must not forget the philanthropic billionaires - Soros and Rockefeller, who are also in the game. All these groups use every opportunity to join the political waves and promote their globalist view of everything," claimed the Irishman.
He points out that NGOs are directly opposed to the sovereign right of Serbs to decide on their country.
"Even though USAID has closed its doors, the money is still flowing," Bowes concludes. "Through the US State Department, NED, and organizations you've never heard of."

"It is unworthy of her office to declare that they are applying Nazi ideology for the best that this country has - youth and intelligence, the future of this country," stated the statement of the Academic Plenum, along with a request for the immediate resignation of Parliament Speaker Ana Brnabić
The students invited all of Serbia to protest in Kosjerić, after the objections of the opposition due to irregularities in the elections in both Kosjerić and Zaječar were rejected.
Just like on Friday in Kosjerić, today in Zaječar all objections of the opposition were rejected. Reason: they do not contain all the elements prescribed by law
A group of 135 regime journalists signed under the advertisement in "Informer" calling for the establishment of a new association - "Association of Journalists of Serbia" (ANS).
