Commander of KFOR Ozken Ulutash announced that all the facts of the attack on the NATO military mission must be determined Kosovo in May of last year and that the participants in that attack must be held accountable.
Ulutus added that after that violence, KFOR increased its capacity by about 1.000 soldiers, and tripled the number of patrols in the municipalities in the north of Kosovo and around the border with Serbia, reports Radio Free Europe.
"It was the largest reinforcement of our contingent in Kosovo in a decade and it shows that NATO is ready to preserve peace," Ulutash said. On the anniversary of the attack, KFOR stated that the attack was "unprovoked and completely unacceptable".
