Jelena Karleusa tonight (August 15) at 21:XNUMX p.m. climbed the stage in Loznica on the plateau in front of the Lagator stadium and started the concert, which ended after less than an hour, well ahead of schedule.
In the meantime, she could not be heard despite the loud sound of whistles and vuvuzelas from Loznica protesting against her concert, and there was no one to hear her because there was almost no audience.
Namely, just 20 minutes before the start of the concert, a slightly larger number of children gathered, just enough to fill the first row.
And yet, in Loznica, all approaches to the stage were blocked, and not far from it there is also a vehicle of the Police Intervention Unit.
Private security at the concert threw tear gas into the eyes of a Nova.rs journalist. Citizens tried to break through the fence around the stage, after which private security intervened and threw tear gas, and then the police appeared, according to Nova.rs.
Before the concert, the Serbian Progressive Party assigned a certain number of people to bring the audience to Karleuša's concert. Allegedly, the goal of this action was to create the image that the singer was happy to be seen in Loznica. As the media announced, the public utility company "Naš dom" was assigned a quota of 15 people to bring to the event. The order, as we learn, came from the director of this institution, who is currently on vacation.
Karleuša was evacuated from Loznica by the police in equipment for breaking up demonstrations, reports Nova.rs.
