Extraordinary elections in Serbia will, by all accounts, to be on October 25th. It is not yet entirely clear who will run and in which coalitions, but some performances are almost certain.
So, who will be on the ballot in front of the citizens?
- List of Aleksandar Vučić who will be candidate for prime minister. It is unclear, however, when he will resign as president. On that list, we should expect the usual small parties like the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia or Zavetnik
- Student list whose candidates will be professors, activists and some celebrities. That list is supported by the Green-Left Front, Kreni-Promeni, the Democratic Party and Dveri, but they will not have their own candidates.
- The pro-European coalition consisting of the Freedom and Justice Party, SRCE, the Movement of Free Citizens and the Solidarity movement of Goran Ješić
- The People's Coalition consisting of the National Movement of Serbia, the New Face of Serbia, the Ecological Uprising and the movement of Niš doctor Dragan Milić
- The coalition of the New DSS and the Monarchists, which calls itself the "authentic right"
- "We - the power of the people" by Branimir Nestorović in coalition with the People's Party. It was speculated that the Movement of Socialists Aleksandar Vulin, which claims that it will certainly go to the elections, could also be on that list, just to see how
- The Labor Party of Željko Veselinović said that it is safe to go to the elections. Negotiations with Nestorović failed earlier
- Movement of the Serbian forces of Bogoljub Karić
- "Cale, wrap for you" movement by Petar Đurić
- Union of Vojvodina Hungarians
- The Democratic Action Party of Sandzak, the Sandzak Democratic Party and the Justice and Reconciliation Party tried to make one list, but it is uncertain. Thus, Bosniaks will be represented by one, two or three lists
- It is similar with two Albanian parties: the Party for Democratic Action and the Alternative for Change. Maybe they go together, maybe separately
- Minority Coalition 381, which consists of the Bosniak Civic Party, the Party of Montenegrins, the Wallachian People's Party and the Civic Alliance of Hungarians
Until now, additional miniature lists often appeared at the last minute, which then won less than 10.000 votes, even though so many signatures of support are needed for candidacy.
So this list is not final, and the deadline for submission of lists for the eventual elections on October 25 would be October 4.
