The editor-in-chief of Informer, Dragan J. Vučićević, stated that the Minister for Capital Investments, Darko Glišić, suffered a severe stroke during a guest appearance on TV Pink, and that doctors are fighting for his life.
Glišić fell ill in a live program during a guest appearance on TV Pink in the show with Dee and Sarapa, Informer writes.
"He is now in the hospital, we will soon have more detailed information about his state of health. He is in a very serious condition, in an unconscious state and doctors are fighting for his life. He is not one of the closest, but the closest associate of the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić," Vučićević said.

Minister Zlatibor Lončar, who participated in the TV Informer program, said that Glišić's operation was completed, and that the next 24 hours were crucial in his recovery.
"The operation is over. It took longer than expected. An extremely complex operation. Several teams worked because it was a combination of thrombus and bleeding. The minister was intubated, we are going step by step," said Lončar.
He added that after the surgery, "the minister's body has to fight."
"We started unclogging the blood vessel that leads to the brain, the speech center is there. The other vessel was also clogged and bleeding. Now his body has to cope. The good thing is that he came in time and the operation was done in the first few hours," said Lončar.

Health Minister Zlatibor Lončar joined the TV Informer program and revealed that Glišić is in an extremely serious condition.
"What medicine can do will be done, we are all worried, the president has been there since the first minute, all of this has affected us, but we hope for the success of the therapy and the measures that have been taken and will be taken, what is known for now is that he is in a serious condition. What is important is that he came in time from the event, i.e. stroke, the first few hours are crucial - said Lončar.
He added that the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, was with Darko Glišić in the Emergency Center from the first moment.
Vučić: Dare, hold on! No surrender!
The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, today sent a message of support to the Minister of Public Investments and the President of the Executive Committee of the Serbian Progressive Party, Darko Glišić, who fell ill during a guest appearance on TV Pink.
"Dare, hold on! There is no surrender," Vučić wrote on Instagram.
