The prestigious "Meša Selimović" literary award found itself at the center of controversy after the call for a boycott initiated by Nebojša Milenković. The writer's family joined the criticism, expressing dissatisfaction with the way in which the name of one of the most important Serbian writers is used.

Momčilović announced that, as soon as the holidays are over, Meša Selimović's family members will meet with lawyers, in order to possibly try to have the "Novosti" company stripped of the right to use the name of the great writer for its award.
