Although photos and videos circulating on social networks show a ton of garbage left behind by those gathered at the National Assembly, the city services of Belgrade say that the volunteers and workers of Cleanliness cleaned everything within an hour and after the end of the assembly.
"The streets of our city remained clean as always after the end of all gatherings of this type, thanks to the sacrifices and hard work of 'City Cleanliness' and 'Zelenila Belgrade', but also to the huge number of volunteers and wardens who were the representatives of the people who organized this great assembly on our streets", said Darko Glavaš, and on that occasion he thanked the organizer of the gathering for the responsibility for a large number of volunteers and wardens.
He reminded the citizens that the rally will continue on the streets on April 13 from 10 a.m. to 14 p.m., with a series of contents offered to all guests of the capital, according to the announcement.
