In Bratunac, 32 years of suffering Serbs of the middle Podrinje. 3.267 Serbs were killed, including forty-three children. No one was held accountable for that crime even before the judiciary BiH nor in the Hague Tribunal.
Patriarch Porfirije serves the holy liturgy and commemoration in Bratunac. Prime Minister Miloš Vučević and the highest officials of Republika Srpska - President of RS Milorad Dodik, President of the National Assembly Nenad Stevandić, Prime Minister of Srpska Radovan Višković, as well as ministers in the governments of Serbia and Srpska - attend the liturgy in the Bratunac temple.
After the Holy Bishop's Liturgy, the liturgy will start from the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary to the cemetery in Bratunac, where at 12 o'clock at the central memorial cross, the patriarch will serve a memorial service for the 3.267 murdered Serbs from central Podrinje and Birč.
