City Election Commission issued decisions on rejecting objections and supplementing objections submitted by the list The change we believe in.
"As Nenad Dinulović, the president of GIK, told us, the aforementioned solutions will be published on the web presentation of the Republican Election Commission within the legal term," lawyer Goran Kalčević, an authorized representative of the Change We Believe list, told Glas Zaječar.
As he claims, the meeting itself was scheduled to the GIK members by message at 12:06, in 14 hours, and the material (500 pages) was delivered at 12:15 and the session ended quickly at 14:35 p.m., so the GIK members did not even have time to familiarize themselves with the delivered material, he writes. Voice of Zajecar.
The President of GIK, Nenad Dinulović, told Tanjug that after inspecting the election material that GIK carried out, and after returning to the re-procedure, it did not establish that the objections were founded, nor that there was anything in the material that would be a basis for canceling the vote.
"Therefore, no irregularity was found at any polling station that would be grounds for annulment of the vote in accordance with the Law on Local Elections," Dinulović said.
As he explained for Glas Zaječar, "representatives of SNS, SPS, Ristović's and minority Radulović's list voted for the decision to reject the complaint".
"After this voting outcome, it is clear that the SPS (which the SNS deliberately lowered below the threshold), as well as Ristović and Radulović, are the most ordinary satellites of the criminal SNS. With this vote of the GIK, crime and corruption have been verified, and the members of the GIK who voted for such decisions will be written in black letters in the history of dishonor and crime in Zaječar," concluded Kalčević.
About the voter list
Regarding the voter's list, Dinulović says that everyone who is registered in the voter's list was allowed to vote, and there was no case of someone who was not registered in the voter's list, as happened in Kosjerić, and which, he said, is the only basis for canceling the vote at the polling station.
Since GIK Zaječara again rejected the objections of the "Change we believe in" list, there is again the right to appeal to the court. In that case, the final decision will be made by the High Court in Zaječar.
What next?
Dragana Rašić, the leader of the "Change we believe in" list, explains to "Vreme" that 71 objections have been filed for all 69 polling stations.
"The number of objections is not as important as the fact that all 69 polling stations are covered by those objections. Therefore, we found an irregularity at each polling station and that is why we lodged an objection."
He further says that he will file an appeal, after which the decision of the High Court will follow again, which will be the last instance.
"We have practically brought the legal forms to an end in terms of the legal battle we are waging, hoping that the conscience of the professionals sitting in the courts and prosecutor's offices will still work and will be at the level of what is prescribed by the Constitution and the Republic of Serbia."
The interlocutor of "Vremena" notes that they are continuing the legal battle on the one hand, while at the same time keeping the citizens "awake".
"The protest in front of the Police Administration has just ended, where we demanded that the police officers start doing their job and prosecute the people who participated in the theft of the election, and in the intimidation of citizens, again related to the election process itself," says Rašić.
Rašić concludes that he will not give up this fight.
"We will continue with all the means given to us to simply defend Zajecar from the Serbian Progressive Party and our election result."
What does the complaint relate to?
The appeal was filed due to the incorrect application of substantive law. As stated in the explanation, the court found that the appeal was timely, allowed and submitted by an authorized person.
The appeal refers to the objection of the opposition list regarding the irregularities at polling station number 13.
In the complaint, among the irregularities, it is stated that in front of the polling station, vehicles with SNS activists who kept voter records, including the possession of a parallel extract from the voter list, were observed, that a group was observed that bribed voters, offering them money, alcohol, packages of food products to vote.
In the complaint, it was also stated that in several cases the secrecy of voting was violated, that ballots were photographed, that a UV lamp was not used, that voting was enabled for people who were registered in the voter's list, but did not have a registered place of residence, but only a place of residence.
The list "Changes in which we believe" submitted 71 objections, and according to the president of the commission, Nenad Dinulović, they were rejected due to formal and legal deficiencies, and seven objections from the list "United to save Zaječar" were rejected as unfounded.
