The "Hook" file, a large article by "Vremena" about the events of the March 15 protest, was shortlisted for the journalist's "Dejan Anastasijević" award for investigative journalism.
On the day of the historic protest, March 15, at exactly 19.11:XNUMX p.m., something drove people to flee in Ulica Kralja Milana. Since then, theories have been floating around. A day later, the journalists of "Vremen" presented the first reconstruction of the entire event, which started the extensive research published in the "Huk" Dossier.

The audience can vote for this text, as well as research texts from other editors, at website of the Independent Association of Journalists of Serbia. Voting lasts until May 6 at midnight.
A total of 14 texts were shortlisted. In addition to the research "Vremena", among other things, KRIK's text about the struggle within the Novi Sad SNS board for projects and Andrej Vučić's favor, BIRN's series on the export of arms from Serbia, as well as the second season of the podcast "Jama", created by CINS, were nominated.
The "Dejan Anastasijević" award is awarded for the 20th time this year for journalistic excellence in investigative journalism.
The award is given by the Independent Association of Journalists of Serbia (NUNS) on the occasion of World Media Freedom Day. This year, the winners will be voted on May 8.
The award is named after Dejan Anastasijević, a long-time journalist of "Vremen", who died prematurely in 2019.
