MP Đorđe Miketić announced on the occasion of the publication of a private video on social networks that the video is authentic.
"I will always say what is true and what is not." It's an old private video that was apparently stolen from my apartment. When I entered politics, I was ready for various subterfuges," said Miketić.
As he stated, he is grateful to his wife, who is also an activist, for her support, as well as to everyone who provided it to him during these days, publicly and privately.
"We knew what to expect. Also, I strongly advocate responsibility, and this applies above all to my actions. However, this is a recording whose point was not to intimidate only me, but it is a message to all opponents of this regime. If you raise your voice, we will look into your private lives, your friends, your wives, your children, the parties you go to, the websites you visit. I don't know what else can suggest the kind of dictatorship we are in," Miketić said.
Miketić pointed out that the last time we had such a dictatorship, under the rule of Milošević, political opponents were killed (Stambolić), journalists were killed (Ćuruvija), citizens were beaten and imprisoned for critical opinions, and that terror was also carried out by state security and institutions of the state of Serbia.
"All this is reminiscent of the Milošević period. But that period also came to an end. The darkness was always blackest before dawn. In the end, it is really disgusting that Vučić wants to cover this topic by publishing someone's private recordings on this day, when the parents of the murdered children are protesting in front of Ribnikar.
Let us remind you that MP Đorđe Miketić, regarding the threats he received from an unknown number, regarding the publication of a private video, said that he thinks that "the state, our institutions, BIA" are behind them. The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, commented on that case on two occasions, and the Security Information Agency also responded.
After recently being on the "Hit Tweet" show on Pink TV Vučić announced the publication of Miketić's private photos, and since the video has now been published on social networks, Vučić again called Miketić a "human disgrace" on national television today.
