Seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic won the first set by making one break, while in the second he was even more convincing, taking away the Swiss's serve twice and quickly reaching 2:0.
Unlike the first two, the third set was more uncertain, no one managed to take away the rival's serve, so a tie-break was played.
Novak made a mini break at the beginning, but then Wawrinka led 5:3. With the result 5:4, the Swiss tennis player had two serves, but did not use them. Novak won all the points until the end and won the match without losing a set.
In the fourth round, Djokovic will play against Hubert Hurkač from Poland, whom he defeated in each of their five matches, including one at Wimbledon (3:1) in 2019.
