Director Telecom of Serbia Vladimir Lučić was declared an undesirable person on Kosovo after statements that Telekom plans to open new facilities there.
The Kosovo MUP banned Lucic from entering and transiting, claiming that his statements represent "a threat to the sovereignty and constitutional order of Kosovo."
According to reports, he publicly advocated "activities and policies that challenge the sovereign powers of the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo in sectors of strategic importance, including electronic communications and telecommunication infrastructure", reports N1.
Lucic told Tanjug that he will fight this decision with all legal means.
"Especially bearing in mind that I personally pushed for the largest possible investments in that territory and the creation of new jobs. All these years in public appearances I had the same attitude about the behavior of the existing administration, and even in the last appearances I did not present anything new except indisputable facts," said Lučić.
Lučić announced new facilities
Earlier this week, Lučić announced that six new Telekom facilities will be opened in Kosovo and Metohija, as well as the improvement of the quality of fixed telephony in areas where Serbs live.
Lučić visited the MTS office in the northern part of Mitrovica on Thursday (August 6) and announced that the company will build two new facilities in the municipality of Parteš by the end of the year.

He announced that the plan is to build facilities in Zubin Potok, Ranilug, Štrpac and other places in the southern Serbian province.
